Connections Individual and Family Services is a 501(c)3 non-profit focused on providing a safe and secure alternative to the “streets” for homeless, abused, or at-risk youth. As a part of the board, I’m involved in providing these services to 17 counties in Texas with a budget of $5.2 million annually. I was recruited in January 2020 and have since helped Connections navigate the transition to remote work for non-essential employees. I also influence organization direction and help with the organization of fundraising events.

Oversaw frontend development and drove growth of FloatMe from a fledgling startup to a platform that provides financial wellness education in more than $4 million in loans to more than 1 million users each month.
