★ Designed a server framework (Keystone) which implemented "SEDA" architecture using Jetty or Tomcat and the Servlet 3.0 architecture, allowing Apple services to solve the "C10K" problem.★ Served as technical architect and engineering lead for the Apple SIM project, executing service as both individual contributor and engineering manager.★ Oversaw the designing and implementing of an industry first electronic SIM with secure over-the-air delivery to allow participating carriers to deliver an eSIM to a programmable UICC. ★ Managed the engineering team to design all system aspects, including the logical entities for all server-side actors and corresponding entities within the UICC OS.★ Supervised the team to develop C-based applications running inside an HSM (Thales), Java-based web-services for improved data privacy and integrity using RSA + AES-based cryptography (using a custom designed DER encoded ASN.1 protocol).

★ Managed the Data Analysis engineering team to ensure embedded development on the iPhone OS related to data collection/logging and the entire server-side stack.★ Coordinated embedded development project to allow processing, analysis and aggregation of 30M daily log submissions. ★ Deliver device-side solutions on very tight timelines while developing corresponding server-side web-based solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment.

★ Served as the hands-on Engineering Manager for the Data Synchronization and MobileMe, managing all Back to My Mac (Wide-area bonjour/Zero Conf), Find My iPhone/Push (1.5M pconn), and multi-platform data synchronization (1.2M users/day) aspects.★ Led a 15-member engineering group in the MobileMe team as architect and leader, effectively managing daily priorities, defining scope, leading brainstorming sessions, interfacing with cross-functional teams and successfully migrating the team to an Agile development process.
