As a DC native, I aim to find better pathways forward for my community. It is my belief that studying the past can change the outlook of our future. This has been my mantra in every facet of my life.As a student of history, I enjoy finding more efficient means of conducting business, discussing issues and finding solutions to persisting problems from the past. This has manifested in the research projects I’ve participated in and my volunteer work with the DC Tenants Union (DCTU). As it stands, I remain uncertain of what exactly I intend to do. However, I know that whatever I do, I aim to make a difference.
