Behind all these resume lines, I still remember why I chose my career as "weaving big data in Biopharma commercialization framework". All trace back to my early days in luxury retail where marketers are spoiled by tremendous volume of customer data as foundation to brand plan. Now in BioPharma, 2 facts struck me:Fact #1: Drug price tops any luxury items I have marketedFact #2: We know almost nothing about our patients and physicians other than some aggregated trends (and no one know how truly how representative they are) and some remote historical data. If one will not trust a stock trading decision based on stock performance 6 months ago, how can we feel comfortable building a marketing plan for the next block-buster in the same fashion?My passion is to keep exploring fascinating frontiers in informatics/digital/customer experience that will reshape healthcare industry to drive commercial success and help patients.
