Responsible for breathe’s Email, IM, Forums and SMS services. Drove $1m+ savings from review and renegotiation of contracts and implemented metrics/controls to analyse user-base. One of the key staff retained during an administration period to ensure continuity of services while a buyer was found.

Managed 40+ EMEA reseller accounts that had lapsed into poor performance. Learned to be patient and to listen; and how to reboot partner relationships. I saved existing business from competitors in several key accounts, and targetted/recruited new partners to grow the business.

The role worked with metro/campus Telco IP/switching and DSL products resold via the Nortel and Lucent reseller channel and required me to develop solid networking diagnostics and installation skills. I also stepped up to solve a major IT incident for the company in the absence of the IT manager and eventually assumed the role; reviewing and replacing older systems with NT4 Server, Exchange and DB technologies. I hand-wrote the companies first website and evolved a basic e-commerce shop to handle partner orders, and deployed dial-up ISDN solutions for senior management and other remote teleworking staff.
