GHP is a residential summer program for gifted high school students in the state of Georgia. The primary mandate of the program is that the students experience instruction that is distinctly different from the high school curriculum. Courses taught must not be available in a typical high school classroom, and therefore course curricula and materials must be created by the instructors.• Taught the following courses:o Introductory computer programming in the language of Delphi and Processing with Pythono “Mining and Modeling”, which is a course on introductory data mining techniques including regression and classification models, non-parametric techniques, and model evaluation skillso “How do we get there from here?”, which focused on classic operations research problems o “Math in Sports”, which focused on advanced statistical techniques such as multiple regression and developing composite statistical metrics, optimization methods, and game theoryo A topic-based course covering many areas, including but not limited to: apportionment, fair division, the nature of infinity, randomized response sampling, and Martin Gardner’s puzzleso Others include: Problem-solving, Transformational geometry, and Numerical Analysis• Assisted students in independent mathematical research with a focus on those projects involving advanced statistics, simulation programming, and operations research
