Philmac manufacturers and distributes a wide range of quality pipe fittings and valves to cover most PE pipe applications. As a Leading Hand and Trariner I ensure that we create continuous learning and skill development for assembly operators by investigating in ongoing technical training, upskilling in advance technologies to ensure workforce remains proficient and adaptable in their fields. My responsibilities includes implementing and monitoring plans and processes to ensure team effectiveness, monitor and support activities to ensure team is focused on work outcomes and overcome challenges.

- Check the quality of products, making sure the right materials being used- Maintaining records of every jobs as well as machine down time- Set up and change over machines for new products- Ensure that each table/ cells has the appropriate conditions to the specific product to be made

- Conducting in-process and finished product inspection- Performing sampling and inspection on products- Recording test and inspection results- Knowledge of quality standards, inspection tools and techniques- High level of personal accountability and quality orientation

As Team Leader I was responsible to oversee, monitor and ensure that the production team and processes operated in a safe and efficient way; achieved daily production targets and met global manufacturing standards in quality. Monitored and checked quality levels on shifts to global quality standards/ QS9000. Facilitated the development of standardized work procedures for work area. Ensured materials met standards and available for production. Monitored daily operations including supervision duties and training of over 30 new employees/operators. Provided and maintained record keeping and documentation, including machine down time, absentees, weekly dry-ice and overtime roster, training log etc. Organized workforce to offset any absentees or increase in schedules. Carried out accident management activities; investigated incidents, analysed and reported in a timely manner. Reported all production and staff matters regularly.

- Carried out final inspection of finished products- Checked correct packing and labeling of products- Provide data reports to assist in quality improvement activities - Prepared daily production reports and records- Maintained high standard of safety and housekeeping in the work place - Adapted to new task as required, including new quality tools and machine handling
