Worked with clients to develop and manage web applications across a wide range of technologies. Managed multiple development teams, oversaw project schedules, and scoped / designed requirements as needed. Routinely provided development services for unfamiliar technologies, platforms and codebases, while quickly getting up to speed. Created a mobile web application for a local home maintenance organization to track technician’s work order progress using tablets while in the field. Included touch-friendly interface and geolocation awareness. Developed companion desktop web interface for administrative review, management and reporting.Rebuilt and expanded a human resources management platform used by 15,000+ users. Managed four person development team. Planned and executed data migration to new platform.Worked with a local restaurant chain to expand their web-based business management portal. Developed new human resources management modules and a guest experience / issue tracking and reporting system. Provided database management services to a local university. Developed and maintained multiple web projects using ASP 3 / ASP.NET / SQL Server. Lead developer for three major ASP.NET student loan application redevelopment projects in support of new credit processing features and changing federal laws.Redeveloped and modernized Rhode Island’s largest scholarship search website in conjunction with the College Planning Center of RI, increasing the site’s user-base from 3,000 to over 22,000 within two years of re-launch. Designed and implemented a customized company-wide Intranet website. Automated generation of internal student loan statistics and reports with Microsoft Excel. Designed various marketing pieces for website related advertising and press releases. Collaborated with local universities to modernize online entrance/exit loan counseling applications. Worked with major national affiliates to build system for tracking and reporting on online application referrals.
