Head of IS in the Duni group. Includes both IS strategic direction, business alignment, process improvement, standardization, governance, policies etc, as well as leading the operational IS-organisation, including support, development, outsourcing/co-location, license management, architecture, infrastructure and operations. Managing a team of 31 persons (3-4 direct reports) in a multi-cultural environment and yearly budget around 8 mEUR + investments 1-2 mEUR.Main operational centres in Malmö/Sweden, Bramsche/Germany, Poznan/Poland, Skåpafors/Sweden as well as sales offices in many other European countries.Duni has since 2008, upgraded SAP from 4.6c to ECC 6.0, consolidated 2 different SAP ERP-systems with different geographic coverage into one common SAP-instance. In addition implemented SAP-PI for integration, SAP-APO for demand planning, Productions planning/Scheduling and for Supply Network planning. SAP-EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) in two major warehouses, as well as QlikView as Business intelligence solution.eCommerce and CRM solutions are implemented as cloud solutions. Master Data Governance system implemented using SAP Information Steward.

Business Interface and Strategy with focus on HR solutions in the APMM group

Member of the group IS-management team, reporting to the IS Director in Yara, with the responsibility to work with the senior business management to align business strategies with IS initiatives, prioritize systems development based on business cases, ensure benefit realization as well as to secure quality deliveries from our suppliers.

Member of group IS-management team, reporting to the IS Director in Hydro Agri, with the responsibility for all software systems, and all staff working with software in Europe. (49 positions based in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Sweden and in the UK).Responsible for competence and career development, resource allocation to projects, Solution Architecture and Strategy and for support and maintenance of IS-systems in Hydro Agri.Hydro Agri operates a SAP R/3 solution (version 4.5b) with 3000 users in 50 companies/units in 8 countries in Europe, as well as some 'satellite' systems, mainly within the logistics area.

Member of the group IS management team, reporting to the IS Director. Responsibility for identifying business requirement together with business managers and process owners and analyse, develop strategies, plan, and implement software developments. This was mainly (but not exclusively) in SAP R/3. Included leading a small team of 8 persons for these activities.Major project activities in addition to above line roleIS Y2K Project Manager for the IS part of the Y2K effort.Included co-ordination of analysis, planning, remedy and testing of about 200 different software components/systemsEuro IS Project Manager for the conversion of accounting currency to Euro for the companies on SAP (Feb 2000-Sep 2000). Included analysis of conversion effects with local accounting responsibles and auditors, documentation according to fiscal requirements, test conversions and functionality testing.

Reporting to the Project Director, I was responsible for the team developing, testing and implementing functionality in SAP in the Finance and HR area, as part of a major SAP project (total cost approximately 1 billion NOK). The project started in Jan 1995 with design and prototyping of business processes, and when I joined in 1997, the major part of development and roll-out started. The project implemented SAP R/3 (FI, CO, AA, COPA, PP, MM, PM, SD, WM, SM) in 46 companies (reporting units) in 8 countries, including production and marketing units in Sweden and Italy. It included major process re-design which implied extensive training and reorganisation of work for about 3000 users and was succesfully ended in March 1999.
