About Camille Robinson

I received my Bachelors degree in Business from the University of Washington, and landed working in a cubical writing proposals in the AEC industry. I spent almost five years of my post-graduate life bounding around and trying to find the creative outlet I was craving. After assisting my twin sister (yep, I’m a twin!) with some of her graphic design work, I fell in love and knew I had to find a way to make design my full time job. Fast forward to 2014, when Robinson Creative House (formally Robinson Paperie) launched but remained my part time outlet to dabble in design. After a few years of working on my brand and finding my path, the business began to flourish. I left my full time job in 2017 and dedicated all my hours to nurturing my passion. In addition to designing stationery suites, I also teach lettering classes. I love to inspire creativity to those around me and think lettering is such a fun and hands-on way to engage with people and my community.

  • Stepherson & Associates Communications
    Marketing And Business Development Manager
    Stepherson & Associates Communications Mar 2014 - Jan 2016
    Seattle
S&A has a history of success working with public agencies, planning, architecture, engineering and construction firms, developers, business organizations, and community coalitions to design and implement highly effective communications and outreach efforts - efforts that ensure the timely delivery of information and the collection of meaningful feedback from the public. In my role as Marketing and Business Develop Manager, I need to be a daily, creative problem-solver. I brought consummate visual communication skills to this role by providing quality graphic design services for our clients, many of whose projects are technically intricate and difficult to communicate to the general public. I established a clear understanding of each project and its audiences and turn the challenges I'd face into opportunities with attractive and easily understood mailers, brochures, flyers, display boards, and presentations. I was also the manager our marketing and proposal development efforts - leading the strategic efforts in developing qualification packages, proposals and interviews/presentations. In my time there I generated over $500K in new business.

  • University Of Washington Medical Center
    Patient Services Specialist-Vascular Surgery
University Of Washington Medical Center Dec 2010 - Apr 2011
Daily, I would Initiate, review & batch charge documents, utilize on-line systems to accurately schedule patients, spontaneously rearrange provider schedules, maximizes utilization of empty appointment slots in coordination with PSR Supervisor. In addition, I would confidentially assesses patient problem & severity of condition according to clinic guidelines, ensures that ALL patients, their families, representatives, other internal/external staff are treated courteously and with respect and in a manner that helps them get what they need. While supporting the Vascular Surgery Clinic, I noticed an inconsistent and inefficient process between patient scheduling, transport, surgery and follow-up. Working with Vascular Diagnostic Lab Manager, Nurse Manager, Diagnostic Lead and the Vascular Surgeon, I created a "best practices" process that eliminated waste, redundancy, confusion and lessened the time between pre and post op procedures. This process also enabled all other staff that participated in the patients care, to have all the patient information they needed (copies of pre-anesthesia paperwork, diagnostic imaging results, and post-op orders) ahead of time, decreasing the chance of hand-off error. Overall, the surgeon I supported was able to increase his patient through-put by 2 cases a day, while increasing patient safety. While in this role, I also completed a 6-week Medical Terminology class.
