As the Director of Operations at Spartan Host, a leading web hosting provider, I oversee the system administration, network administration, and contractor management of the company. I ensure the smooth and secure operation of the servers, networks, and websites that power our clients' online presence. I also lead and coordinate the work of external contractors and vendors, managing the budget, contracts, and quality standards.Before joining Spartan Host, I worked as a Senior Network Technician IV at Equinix, a global data center and interconnection platform. There, I was responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the network equipment and infrastructure, as well as providing technical support and guidance to customers and colleagues. I gained valuable experience and skills in network administration, technical support, and server administration, as well as certifications in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Camosun College.I'm passionate about technology and innovation, and I enjoy learning new skills and tools to improve my performance and efficiency.
