A convenient and easy to use manual accounting system was created for effective financial monitoring & reconciliation and payment of bills which had resulted in almost zero error in audit reports during the currency of the project(s). Our system has been categorized as sound financial management by Asian Development Bank. Developed and used highly effective system of allocation of different development resources based on mathematical models on Tehsil basis.Developed and used benefit monitoring and evaluation (BM&E) system in development and education sectors to strengthen the impact of the intervention for physical infrastructure, capacity building and institutional strengthening. Lessons learnt and experience was regularly shared with stake holders through reports, workshops and seminars.As a General Manager (P&D) in an institute of higher education, I had the opportunity to work since beginning to date (16 years) in facilities and infrastructure planning & development, progress and monitoring reports. Also served as Project Arbitrator.• 100 simultaneous road contracts worth Rs. 1,000 million (425 Km)were awarded, implemented and supervised.• Recruited and Supervising 450 professional staff members including 4 residencies of Road works and three district offices.• Project surpassed the targets, attained SATISFACTORY status & highest Turnover ratio in Pakistan.• Consecutive 5 years clear/clean audit, ZERO percent margins of Error, reconciled accounts and one of the best ADB assisted project in Pakistan. • ADB appreciated the sound financial management and achievements(Management and implementation of a large project of rural infrastructure development based on community participation in whole Bahawalpur Division of Punjab province of Pakistan worth 64.8 M US$ for poverty alleviation.
