The upgrade process is divided as:Pre-upgrade – This can be done with the system being up. 11.5.9/11.5.10 customers will run this step to help mitigate complications that may rise and reduce the time required for the upgrade.Post-upgrade - This step takes care of migrating the delta in case pre-upgrade is already run and will be run with the system down. Each of these is again divided into two steps:Data Cleansing – Here a summary to indicate which catalog items won't be migrated seamlessly like bulk-loaded items with no supplier site or assigned to "all buyers" etc is shown. On this summary page, the user will be provided with the capability to download these items and upload them with the correct data for R12.Data Relocation - It relocates catalog data into their new locations required for R12. Solely designed & coded the following online applications: 1. Learning Management System (LMS) - This system provides facility to administer, monitor the courses taken by student, modules completed & pose examination at the end of each course. There are different student tools like Virtual Classroom, Mail Service, Event Calendar, Chatting, Campus News etc.2. Online Counseling Test - Here a client can take various psychological tests where he will be given a set of questions with multiple options. Once done with the answers are evaluated and the result is displayed along with the interpretations based on the test results.3. Internet Mail Client - This is a web-based application which uses SMTP and allows a person to send e-mails through a browser from any client computer. The advantage is the client need not login to the mailing system to send email.4. Shopping Cart - The project is being developed to help client shop online with search to help him. Once he selects the product he can add it to the cart, see the total price and can edit or delete the product.5. Online Chat - The chat allows you to select a topic and enter a room for chatting online. Once the client is done with the chat he can Log off & enter another chat room.6. Online Results - The project is being developed to provide Online Results for Educational Institutions using Client Server interaction by the use of Server side scripting and ODBC. The user is provided with the results based on the class chosen by him.7. Database Search Engine - It's a database jiffy search program in which a user can search for educational information on schools, colleges, Universities etc according to different search criteria like the Name, City etc.Contribution - Designing, coding, enhancements & maintenance of all interfaces, modeling and building database for the search engine. 1. Intranet Mail Client - Using this intranet application client can send/receive mails locally. The message sent is stored in the database in the receivers inbox & whenever the receiver login he is able to retrieve the message. It has all the functionality of the mail clients like storing addresses, creating folders etc.2. Payroll System - This deals with computerization of payslip preparation. We maintain employee’s records like name, address, DOJ, salary details, PF, leave details. It allows us to validate the records, prepare queries, forms and print report which is payslip for the employee.3.
