l like low level bit twiddling and high level abstractions.I've worked with a number of different languages, platforms and environments and have shipped products in everything from assembly to F#. I'm equally comfortable working with a 1k embedded system or a serverless function in the cloud. The projects I have had the opportunity to work on have been everything from backends in Java, frontends in TypeScript, Android apps in Java Scala, C# and F#, video games in assembly, networking protocols in C++ and many more.Acquiring new skills is part of the job, but one aspect I happen to enjoy immensely. I believe lifelong learning is essential.My more specialised skills are embedded programming, hardware and driver level programming, OS less development. I have a solid understanding of digital design and electronics, and enjoy implementing CPUs and other digital logic components in Verilog, SpinalHDL, and Chisel. It's something I would like to see more of in the future.I value performance, correctness, stability and security. Different languages and environments excel in different areas, I always consider which tool is the best for the job.
