Responsible for overseeing the daily operations as well as all IT related projects. By developing many policies and guidelines I have helped reduce the need for additional resources in relation to our growth of systems and increased conformity that eases and meet IT regulations on a consistent basis.

Acting manager/supervisor role under the Director of IT. I am responsible for compliance, network, wireless, VM data center, SAN, POS, PMS, antivirus, and audio/visual. Help plan, manage and implement new projects and technologies to meet tight deadlines. Also, I configure, manage, and assist our help desk.

Act as the Director of Audio/Visual for the Rocky Gap Lodge and Golf Resort for KVL Services. I manage the sales, quotes, payroll, and inventory at the location.

Planned and deployed various wireless networks, Cisco and Motorola/Symbol equipment.

Configured CSU/DSU’s, Switches, Routers, and various other equipment. Manage and instructed on site technicians on how to extend and trouble shoot various circuits. Installed long haul equipment including pair gains, media converters, and repeaters. Scheduled orders for circuit extensions, equipment installs, circuit outages, and activations on a very demanding time schedule. Kept logs of the materials and times of the technicians. Maintain customer relations with large and small companies, project managers, and the onsite contacts. Worked with ISP technicians at various hop locations. Trained 30+ employees on a tight time schedule for various types of circuit extension, equipment installs, and scheduling and manging multiple technicians on different sites.

Worked with various national roll outs including Verizon Bussiness and Government Solutions, AT&T, DOD, and more. I would hire sub-contractors, write there work packets and send it to them, and schedule multiple sites to be done on a day to day basis. I work with up to 20 technicians on different sites a day. I also worked on Special research projects for military grade equipment and worked as the technical field support person to instruct techs on other team members projects how to install, program, and extend circuits and various equipment. While techs were on site I instructed them in detail how to accomplish the specific tasks for their site, kept track of their time and material while on site, kept up to the hour notes on their progress and details of the install, and would troubleshoot and collaborate with testing and client companies. At the end I was training up to 15 others per 2 weeks in information technology, knowing circuit parameters and how to walk techs through, in detail, over the phone to do the following:extending circuits (56K, T1, DS3, OC3-48)Set up and use various testing sets (Tberd)Configure Stand Alone CSU/DSU'sConfigure Cisco RoutersConfigure various long haul equipment (media converters, pair gains)Over all my role here was a extremely fast paced project coordination/management position that I excelled at enough to begin teaching others and continue more specialized tasks for the company.
