❈ Develop and validate tissue-based clinical assays (Singleplex/ Multiplex Immunohistochemistry/ Immunofluorescence/ In-Situ Hybridization) supporting Translational Molecular Biomarkers (TMB) across all therapeutic areas and clinical development phases.❈ Act as a subject matter expert in the development and validation of tissue-based assays, collaborating with project teams, biomarker leaders, clinical operations, and regulatory affairs to implement these assays in clinical trials.❈ Act as the assay lead responsible for the development and validation of immunohistochemistry and multiplex panels used in clinical trials, ensuring successful transfer of projects to CROs.❈ Collaborate with scientists and physicians in both early and late-stage clinical development to execute biomarker strategies in clinical trials.❈ Assist in the transition of biomarker assays from Discovery Research to Clinical Development by providing technical guidance on fit-for-purpose assay validation.❈ Serve as in-house expert representing Merck in interactions with CROs developing IHC, multiplex IF panels, and ISH assays to support our clinical biomarker programs.❈ Work closely with Data Sciences to develop and verify digital image analysis algorithms and results from image analysis projects.❈ Lab Manager (Molecular Pathology Team - Translational Molecular Biomarkers)

Our research is focused on basic science and application development for hyperpolarized 13C magnetic resonance imaging.
