I have over a decade's experience in the digital media industry, working across a number of roles and clients, with my current area of focus being business intelligence.While my professional areas of speciality over the years have centred around data collation and analysis, digital marketing campaign planning, strategy, and execution, and the management of several direct reports, my skill set is varied and allows me to adapt to new or changing role/business requirements. In particular, I consider my writing, communication, and technical skills (e.g. intermediate to advanced Excel skills, basic to intermediate coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python), image and video-editing skills, quick uptake of learning new software, etc) fundamental to my success in the workplace, as it often allows me to both exercise lateral thinking and provide more timely and robust concepts or solutions.Outside of the corporate workplace, I hone my creative skills in performing and teaching improv comedy (having been voted Most Outstanding Workshop Instructor in 2022), and have successfully taken improv shows to Melbourne Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. My written comedy skills have also been developed through stand-up and sketch, with my proudest personal achievement being writing and performing my debut solo show Risky Spizzness at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2023.I also help run not-for-profit comedy theatre Corner Shop Comedy where I produce comedy shows and workshops in addition to being Treasurer. 80% of ticket sales profits from our shows go directly to our performers, and at least 50% of profits from our workshops go directly to our instructors. We are extremely proud to be supporting local artists and ensuring their talents are both celebrated and compensated fairly, and to be able to provide greater access to workshops via our scholarship program and scaled payment options.I like to think that my diverse range of skills, knowledge, and interests speaks to my nature of being a perpetually curious person, which works in harmony with my insistence that there is a solution for every problem. I get no greater satisfaction than knowing I have helped someone, and this is the energy I aim to bring to every endeavour I undertake in all areas of my life.
