I'm a web developer/producer always looking to join up on interesting entrepreneurial, industrial or entertainment projects with creative professionals. I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades which helps me see the big picture and the possible bumps in the road, as well as being useful in hiring and managing projects. As such, I'm interested in almost everything--usually they have to do with managing people, being creative, and taking on big challenges. In web, I've developed my own projects and served as an Operations Manager on a site with hundreds of thousands of active users. In film, I've worked as a Producer, editor, director, cinematographer, writer, key production assistant, 1st AD, 2nd AD, 2nd 2nd AD, PC, 1st AC, Sound Designer, Gaffer, Grip and Sound Recordist. My current projects, Setwerks.com and get-gigs.com, meld those two passions and helped me dive into the no-code space in 2017. I spend spare my spare time overseeing an ever-changing series of small creative fiefdoms in the classroom and developing fun things for good people.

Entertainment ProfessionalFreelance 2003 - PresentGreater Los Angeles Area San Francisco Bay AreaWork in a variety of roles; Associate Producer, Production Coordinator, 1st AD, 2nd AD, 2nd 2nd, Cinematographer, Sound Mixing/Recordist, Editor, Key PA, Grip, DIT and PA.I always wanted to work in features, so I started as an unpaid intern lifting heavy things, moving them, then taking them back where they were in the first place and moved on to wrangling actors, managing PAs, organizing craft services, making coffee, and knowing when the world cup matches were on. After that, I worked my way up in a variety of roles, mostly in production department, doing AD and PC work including scheduling, callsheets, maps and directions, SAG Gs & paperwork, contracts & location agreements, management of production department employees, crew recruitment, chasing small children, petty cash accounting, stuff like that. Eventually, I started spreading out into other departments and got a wide variety of experiences which serve me well as a filmmaker and teacher today.
