Responsible for developing and supporting relationships with philanthropists and their families to achieve their philanthropic goals in partnership with Save the Children to ensure the survival, health, education and safe development of children and maximize their potential. My team of five focuses primarily on the East Coast, including the New England states, the Greater DC area, Florida and more. We know we've done our jobs well when donors take pride in the impact of their engagement with Save the Children and children and their families' lives are changed for the better.

Launched and managed entry-level donor product marketed by Italy, Korea, Australia and Mexico with revenue over $30M annually. Developed and supported other revenue lines generating $5 - $10M annually.

Led the creation and launch of the September 11 Recovery Program grantmaking initiative to disburse over $80 million in grant funding to meet the ongoing needs of those impacted by the terrorist attack. Supervised work of external consulting team at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. Provided guidance on the development, implementation and monitoring of grant programs in the areas of mental health, health, access to services, and children and youth.

Opened Bogotá office. Managed Colombia operations including program monitoring, partner capacity building, and budget oversight; Supervised 3 employees directly and managed the work of a 6-person international team; Monitored over $2 million in grants. Developed strategic plan to support human rights and peace, civil society, political advocacy, emergency response and global partnerships in Colombia. Wrote successful proposal to obtain USAID funding; Oversaw USAID-funded project, monitored results and prepared reports.

Developed and pitched successful grant proposal to obtain funding from UNICEF for mother/child health project; edited successful grant proposal for USAID funding for project expansion. Responsible for management and monitoring of health projects including initiatives in child survival, HIV/AIDS education, anti-parasite programming and potable water systems; managed relationship with Catholic Medical Mission Board for gift in kind medicines.

Researched and wrote the Annual State Department Status of Women in Nepal report and updates on trafficking, economic participation, and legal and political reform for women. Analyzed issues related to reproductive rights, domestic violence, criminal justice, property rights, and divorce and bigamy laws.

Developed and implemented agricultural programs in partnership with the community including an avocado and citrus tree planting project. Supported community effort to obtain potable water; Promoted cultivation of new crops with improved seeds, organic fertilizer and demonstration plots. Editor of 50-page bilingual newsletter.
