PTC Construction Ltd. provides construction, maintenance, and engineering services to the Paterson Global Foods agriculture, agri-food, and agri-based subsidiaries across the Canadian prairies. Its services include engineering consulting, project management, complete construction services, mechanical installation services and concrete and piling services in addition to customized general maintenance programs.As a member of the multi-disciplinary engineering and project management teams I was solely responsible for the mechanical design and oversight for all capital, upgrade, and maintenance projects at their numerous inland export grain terminals. I provided mechanical design and/or project management services, depending on the scale and schedule/resource constraints. My responsibilities included the specification and sourcing of mechanical equipment as well the review and approval of all engineering consultant and OEM supplied drawings for industrial equipment, mechanical components and assemblies, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and systems, as well as the design of custom components.

Mechanical Engineering Section Lead for the Guardian product line. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary engineering team, I was responsible for managing the transition from R&D into full production from a mechanical and manufacturing engineering perspective. Conducted in-depth reviews of all mechanical components and assemblies, including an evaluation of the manufacturing processes. Drove the engineering design change process through the identification, planning, execution, and documentation of all component, assembly, and tooling modifications with the goal of reducing material costs while improving production rates, product quality, and safety.

Designed 3D models and created corresponding detail, assembly, and installation drawings for proprietary and external projects in accordance with ISO and ASME standards utilizing the principles of Geometric Dimensioning and Toleranceing (GD&T).Utilized parametric modelling techniques to develop seed parts and drawings for common components for the Wire Strike Protection System (WSPS) program.Developed the Magellan 3D Model Hardware Library (MMHL) to streamline the development of assembly models and drawings for all engineering programs,Aided in the creation of project documentation for submission to clients (including Lockheed Martin, the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), and the National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA)) and approval organizations (including Transport Canada, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)).Utilized Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) data in comparison to 3D model geometry to ensure geometrical adherence of components to the associated engineering drawing specifications in accordance with the quality control initiatives for the F-35 Lightning II program.Responsible for all internal and external data transfers and data management regarding the F-35 Lightning II program.
