Never would I have thought that my first car blowing a head gasket in 2010 would change my life for the better- but when that 19 year old long haired hippie punk realized he couldn't deliver pizzas anymore and decided it was time to get a "real job", like a lot of Michiganders- he turned to manufacturing!From sanding bumpers and passing out from the heat and fumes, to working as a machine operator (that often got scolded for tinkering with the equipment), to establishing a strong foundation of the manufacturing business process as a quality control technician, to finally making the leap to the technical side in the form of a resignation letter (which was countered with an offer for tuition reimbursement and a position as a robotics maintenance technician), I embarked on a journey that led me to my careers calling: Industrial Automation.Since then, I have had the pleasure of taking part in the advancement of operational technologies and have remained current with the ongoing trends that push that bar forward.
