In Claire’s spare time, she is often found playing outdoor grass volleyball in the park and enjoys taking her two pups on weekend hikes in the Rocky Mountains.

Contributes to business development efforts by assisting in presentation materials for individual projects and aids in the growth of the hospitality division within Cannon Design by developing and maintaining close relationships with clients and project teams. Develops architectural design solutions through all hospitality project phases. Coordinates drawings and documentation of all project trades throughout the life of a project. Performs site and field work during construction administration.

Verifying the correctness and completion of architectural drawing documents for complex, large scale projects. Well-versed in all project phases from schematic design to construction administration. Providing solutions to complex project requirements, producing schematic 3d models for project analysis, drafting detailed construction document sets and coordinating construction documents among all project trades.

Drafting full scale construction documents in AutoCAD 2010 including site plans, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, building and wall sections, exterior and interior elevations, detail drawings and schedules. Researching International Building Code and ADA requirements and applying code information to construction documents. Researching materials and specifications for LEED project credits. Coordinating RFI and construction administration documents with contractors and consultants.

Worked under direct supervision of Michigan registered Architect for commercial and residential projects, produced detail drawings of new construction, produced schematic design drawings, researched residential Michigan code requirements, manufactured new project ideas via 3-dimensional modeling to present to the client/owner, and produced and maintained accurate construction drawing sets

Assisted fellow designers in hospitality and commercial projects, voiced imaginative opinions, participated in the development and follow-through of design solutions, researched specifications and materials, created final design drawings and documents to present to the client, managed office schedule, organized the office environment and regulated and maintained all service and technological equipment
