Manager of two manufacturing plants producing polyester thermal insulation, wall coverings and acoustic panels for domestic and international markets. Driving business improvements in manufacturing and distribution with a strong focus on health & safety, team development and engagement. Development of business long term strategy with senior management team.

Overall responsibility for Procurement, Planning, Operations and Warehousing functions. Champion of Lean business culture change and implementation. Development of robust Health & Safety system in line with ACC Work Place Safety Management Practices (WPSM). Member of the Senior Management team, setting the values of the company and the development of the business strategic plan.

Manager of the Extrusions division of Marley ( Auckland). Control of 3 manufacturing units ( P.V.C., Polyethylene, and Polybutylene). Responsible for setting strategic plan of business unit and functional units. Strong emphasis on Health & Safety and the ongoing cultural change. Management of discretionary budgets and departmental capital expenditure.Managed both the Auckland and Christchurch Extrusions plants to introduce standardisation across the manufacturing units.

Cordination of production line changeovers and maintenence planning. Responsible for development of process standard operating procedures and departmental K.P.I.
