I have spent 20+ years helping meeting planners provide memorable experiences to their employees and members at their meetings and conferences. My roles with the High Peaks Resort and the Lake Placid Conference Center allowed me the wonderful opportunity of working from home, as well as spending time at this amazing resort town of Lake Placid, NY, and sharing this experience with event planners.I have also spent the last 14+ years mentoring fellow hospitality professionals, both planners and suppliers, to achieve their CMP certifications. As the CMP Chairperson with MPI Upstate New York, I have the privilege of guiding CMP candidates through their journey to this coveted designation.Since the Covid-19 pandemic, I've been able to focus more on my technical talents. My exposure to Salesforce at my recent sales positions inspired me to learn the administrative aspects of the software and how it's used to manage day-to-day procedures for business applications. This afforded me the opportunity to consult with Paul Smith's College on developing their CRM tools for admissions procedures, including TargetX (Salesforce) and Slate.I'm looking forward to my next opportunity working with organizations to either plan exciting and memorable meetings, or focus on their technical needs and how they can use Salesforce to support their business mission.
