I am the Systems Engineer for Smitty’s Supply, Inc. I implemented their first VMWare Server environment. When I arrived they had one server that they were using for their file storage, apps, and DHCP. I implemented a Fully Redundant VMWare Environment and was able to segregate their servers out to eliminate a single point of failure, including a fully redundant server rack. I setup managed switches for monitoring capabilities and handled all of their networking needs. I was the project lead for a new Manufacturing Management System, and for numerous other projects. I was in charge of ensuring successful data backups using Backup Exec, and a Dell Powervault 124T 16-Slot Tape drive. I implemented an Opensource inner-office messaging system using Openfire and Spark. I managed a 150 Access Point Wireless system, as well as managing the security camera system for the company. Implemented Kaseya, and wrote scripts to push out new software, managed the Kaseya Antivirus, Kaseya Anti-Malware, Desktop Policy Management, and a Service Desk Ticketing System. I managed 125 workstations along with 130 users. I managed the servers and network for Smitty's Supply's Corporate Headquarters as well as their other 6 remote locations.

I am the Technical Consultant for Dr. Simon at Northlake Nephrology, Inc. I manage his network and service the computers.

I was the Network Engineer for Home Bank. I managed all networking for the bank, as well as helping out with Helpdesk, Systems Administration, and anything else that is needed in IT. I also managed the bank’s PCs through Kaseya ensuring that their windows patches are up to date as well as antivirus. I worked on HP Printers replacing fusers, rollers, or updating the firmware if needed. I worked on the Helpdesk support answering and resolving any tickets that came into the Helpdesk system. I assisted the systems administrator in regards to configuring and maintaining Active Directory. I assisted in managing Exchange 2007 and an internal web server. I was responsible for configuring and maintaining our Security Software Scanner (eEye Retina). I managed 20+ Cisco devices, ranging from Cisco 2900 Switches to Cisco 2800 series Routers. I was responsible for ensuring that the Cisco Switches / Routers configurations were backed up weekly. I was also responsible for ensuring the IOS on the switches / routers were updated as updates came out. I implemented a Server 2008 NPS Server to perform Radius Authentication for the Cisco switches. I assisted with converting 6 NCR ATMs over to a different core vendor. I was the senior technician for Statewide Bank’s seven locations, including the data center. I provide technical support for all IT related equipment, voice and data, as well as assisting the IT Director with infrastructure analysis, monitoring, and upgrading as well as making recommendations for new products for the IT strategic plan.
