Flyby developed cutting-edge computer vision and inertial sensing technology that provided mobile devices with an understanding of the physical world, enabling devices to see, understand, and navigate real world environments. At the core, Flyby’s platform enabled mobile devices to understand space and motion. Powered by computer vision, inertial sensing, and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) technology, the platform captured maps of indoor or outdoor environments in real-time, and tracked the full 3D motion of the device. The platform included state-of-the-art libraries for feature detection, recognition, 3D geometry, visual-inertial odometry, and pose graph optimization. Everything was written with an emphasis on code quality and speed.
