StreamPunch, a delicious blend of your favorite streaming services, helped people find and watch streaming movies and tv shows across popular services like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, iTunes, and Vudu with a universal watch list, notifications, and intelligent deep linking.

Led all the product, data, and analytics teams at Meebo. Meebo allowed users to aggregate their favorite chat services like Y!, MSN, AIM, Facebook, MySpace into a single experience on the web or in the native Meebo mobile app. Created the Meebo Bar and Community IM products that provisioned instant messaging for social networks like Flixster, Cafe Mom and enabled social sharing through chat on content sites like TechCrunch, VentureBeat. Expanded global reach to >200M monthly unique users.

Led the development of new standalone and integrated versions of Y! Messenger for the web, expanding the reach of Y! Messenger into Y! Mail and My Yahoo! Fun facts: We launched the first free inflight instant messaging with JetBlue and a force-imbued version of Y! Messenger for Star Wars to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars.

Led the product development effort for Google Talk (codenamed: Buzz), Google’s first messaging product. Founded the Gmail/Google Talk integration (codenamed: Yellow Jacket) to bring chat into Gmail.

Led the development of Y! Messenger v6, which was selected as CNet’s Editor’s Choice 2004 over MSN and AIM. Integrated Y! Games and LaunchCast Radio into Messenger and co-invented the first clickable music IM status and Game status in an instant messenger.

Developed multiple versions of the Y! Messenger desktop client for Windows. Created popular features like Buzz and the first animated emoticons in any instant messenger. Invented IMVironments, revenue-generating shared interactive experiences for chat conversations. Fun fact: Popular IMVironments included the ever romantic Falling Hearts, shared trailer watching for movies like Disney's Monsters Inc, draw together with Doodle, fight while chatting with Y! Fighter and many more. Awarded the Yahoo! Super Star Award with Distinction.
