I moved to Georgia in 2005 to have a fresh start. Shortly after I started as a courier with HWC Logistics. I then moved on to Imports, Distribution, Distribution Lead, and then Office Operations Manager. I spent nearly 15 years with the company. I started a position at Broadrange Logistics to help with its growing business two years ago. I am now VP of Operations. I enjoy growing with this company...and we have definitely grown within the past couple of years. I specialize in many areas.*Writing SOPs*Oversee processes to make sure they are being followed or make process improvements when needed.*Train new employees on processes and procedures as well as training on our Warehouse Management System. This includes traveling between locations when needed.*Involved in day-to-day operations for all facilities.*Inspire, coach, and motivate employees to provide a positive workspace*Solve issues and find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.*Oversee all billings to ensure they are accurate and billed timely*Audit invoices from vendors*Onboard all new customers to; setting up correctly in WMS, billing correctly, SOPs are made, and employees are trained on customer specifications and requirements.*Help provide rates to potential customers*Make sure safety rules and regulations are followed*Attend meetings with customers to insure we are providing the best service*Communicate with BRL teams to make sure all are informed on issues, changes being made, etc.*Run Reports for KPIs*Work closely with Inventory Control Specialist to make sure systems are adjusted timely and accurately.*Help organize offices to ensure they are setup effectively and safelyI don't shy away from any work thrown at me throughout the day. My job is to make sure operations is running smoothly and find ways to improve our day-to-day workflow.
