As an assistant producer at NPR, I create engaging and informative audio content for millions of listeners. I have a passion for economics journalism, which I developed during my BA in Economics at William & Mary and my internship at NPR's Planet Money/Indicator podcast. Here are some of the highlights of my work:I pitched and led the production of a series on the business of social media influencers, exploring how they make money, build brands, and influence trends.I contributed to the conversation on climate change by producing a story on how green laws stop green projects, which involved extensive research and fact-checking.I brought a fresh perspective to NPR's coverage by pitching and conducting interviews for an episode on the MLB's antitrust exemption, which explained the economic and legal implications of baseball's monopoly status.My core competencies include audio production, video editing, writing, Pro Tools, organizational leadership, and research. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges. My goal is to produce audio that educates, entertains, and inspires audiences.
