Born in Tokyo, I spent three formative years in Newbridge, County Kildare, Ireland during high school and later earned my degree in Melbourne, Australia. These international experiences shaped my global perspective, which continues to guide my leadership approach and drive my passion for sustainable innovation. After returning to Japan, I began my career in system engineering before taking on a leadership role in my family business, CTE.At the core of my work lies a fundamental question: how can we enable the sustainable use and management of plastics? As CEO of CTE, I focus on advancing plastic extruder technologies that support the creation of environmentally friendly products and contribute to building a more sustainable society.While technological innovations in plastic recycling and extrusion continue to advance, I believe the next critical step lies in educating consumers and adopting efficient approaches to reusing plastics. It’s not about rejecting plastics outright but about embracing their versatility and potential through innovative technologies that promote sustainability. By bridging technology and awareness, I aim to contribute to a future where plastics are managed responsibly and effectively for a better world.
