This role is pivotal in recruiting businesses to create career pathways for high school seniors in the Hartford area. Responsibilities include securing internships and entry-level positions across diverse sectors. Additionally, businesses will be engaged to host tours, participate as guest speakers at student events, provide mentorship opportunities, and support various educational initiatives.

Adam is a long-time employee (30+ years) of CBIA and besides assisting in the association’s overall grass-roots legislative and regulatory activities, he also helps develop and coordinate the association's outreach and engagement efforts to members, chambers of commerce, other business groups, public agencies and the general public. Working with multiple internal customers, Adam also assists with various CBIA projects and initiatives related to workforce development, sustainability, cyber security, manufacturing and small business development. Adam is a volunteer at the Academy of Engineering and Green Technology at Hartford High School where he works with students to help them gain relevance to classroom rigor and also helps them develop relationships with potential employers. Adam is also a former board member of CT FIRST Robotics, the CT Green Building Council, the Connecticut Power and Energy Society and is a current board member of Knox Parks in Hartford.A graduate of the University of Hartford, Adam lives in Bloomfield and enjoys golf, yoga, fishing, cooking, designing bird houses, all things Philadelphia sports, and independent movies.
