I advised customers on the offers, the home measure and design that the company provide, I also provided guidance on the styles alongside colours that match what the customer envisioned. Familiarising myself with what works and what does not work was a key factor for the job, as I had to ensure it was something that we could design for, but we could not offer a certain design solution I would offer alternative design or storage solutions that would best fit the customers needs and wants. The job role also involved looking at customers floor plans to decide if there would need to be other supplementary work would need to be carried out before the fitting process to ensure aspects like the water entry and gas points are correctly placed to fit the customers intended the design idea.

This job role consisted of replenishing the shelves with stock when the stock would run low or we would get deliveries, this would depend on the day as there was designated stock days. Helping customers locate stock was also a key part of the job, especially when working on tills I had to have good money management skills working at times a fast pace environment. Organisation was important in this job to avoid stock loss, amounts of each product would have to be tracked when delivered and then keeping track of the stock in the warehouse had to be done regularly. Keeping the store tidy and appealing to the customers was something that was always done if all other tasks and jobs were completed.
