I am now a lecturer at the Department of Environmental Science and Technology of the Technological University of Cyprus in LimassolI hold regular meetings with businesses and entrepreneurs who are looking into the possibilities of venturing into environment related activities.Support to existing businesses for the development of their Corporate Social Responsibility plans and answering questions about EU and national legislation.Support to local community and environmental groups on how to deal with various issues.Provide help and support to a number of students doing their projects from universities in Cyprus and abroad.Working closely with a number of reporters from various MMEs Articles published and regular appearances in local TV and Radio stations

Participated and delivered presentations to a mixture of over 200 schools, NGOs, various organizations and universities.Regular appearances on radio and TV programs Published articles in the local press and magazinesParticipation in the adaptation of legal procedures:- Promotion of adoption of legal procedures for topics such as tires, construction and demolition waste, medicine, dead animals etc. This was done through the study of similar systems abroad, consultations with the industry, government and the Parliamentary Committees.- During my time as Commissioner for the Environment I participated in the procedures, meetings and public consultations done for the formulation of the final draft for the introduction of new legislation with regards to the environment.- Was a regular guest at the Parliamentary Committees that deal with energy, environment, agriculture and transport.- Active participation for the adoption of a range of national policies with regards to the environment like the Domestic Waste Management Policy, the Water Framework Directive, National Policy of Air Quality. Also participated in related policies like the Corporate Social Responsibility policy formulation and others.- Participated in meetings with EU Commissioners and other executives.- Provide help and support to students from Cyprus and abroad for their assignments and final year projects.

Paid consultant of the Cyprus Youth Board from 1994 up to 2006.President of the Technical committee of the Tender Board on IT procurement 1998 - 2004

The technical committee was made from technical people and representatives from the Treasury and the the Office of the Auditor General.The task was to scrutinize all public procurement documents, examine closely all evaluation reports and take part in contract negotiations.A number of semi government services often requested assistance when their tender procedures faced problems.

Started as a security person, then became a Stage Commander and then I was in charge of the IT systems of the Cyprus Rally.As an IT specialist I designed all the IT infrastructure for three FIA World Rally Championships

Actively involved in the environment within the Ecological Movement NGO until 1996.Participated in many environmental actions to prevent a number of environmental destructions.
