Oversee business operations, financial and accounting functions for high end residential general contractor generating annual sales in excess of $25 million. Accountability extends to financial statements, profit flow/cash flow analysis, and management of lines of credit. Hire and directly supervise accounting staff of six. As a senior management team member, participate in strategic planning, including expense forecasting and cash management strategies.Specific Contributions:Led the transition of a small business with an owner-centric business model to a mid-sized enterprise with specialized responsibilities and management tiers. Directly involved in recruiting, screening and hiring across the entire enterprise including estimators, project managers, site supervisors and accounting staff. Led the transition of the company’s financial platform twice (QuickBooks, Timberline).Responsible for the screening, selection and ongoing relationship management of banking partners, IT firm, insurance agencies, legal counsel, and recruiting firms.
