- Contributor to project :: Reading emotions using machine learning, signal processing, and natural language processing- Tasked with cleaning signals (training data) from noisy emotive data.- Implemented Fast Fourier Transform and lowpass filter, along with some optimization, to clean signals in a computationally effective manner. Resulted in functional tool for cleaning our emotive training data. - Learned how to use filtering tools to clean data and use Pandas with Python for data analytics and manipulation.

Through the St. Lawrence University Fellowship Program, I spent the summer working with Dr. Pirbhai to create a affordable spectrometer that is portable and capable of food diagnostic applications such as detecting adulterations in spices and predicting the ripening period of fruit. The spectrometer consisted of a Raspberry Pi, spectral chip, and some code. It was then further used in research on birefringent enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. In other words it was able to prevent certain false positives that the assay is susceptible to and lowered its limit of detection for glucose by an order of magnitude. Glucose detection is a common practice in medicine, and found that this spectral device could be used for such experiments.
