This role focuses on recruitment, organizational development, program administration, personal, professional and organizational development of clergy and lay leaders, supporting Diocesan bishops and their mission. This role focuses on development of systems, program administration, personal and professional development of leaders (paid and volunteer). • Assist the Bishop (CEO) with managing the clergy (275+) under his care. • Maintain disciplinary oversight for all clergy misconduct.• Design and facilitate trainings and conferences for teams.Selected Achievements:• Train, track and monitor teams of leaders (650 members at a time) who are charged with hiring, developing programs, educating in communities across the state.• Oversee the recruitment of clergy in North America seeking new positions, coaching them on best practices, contract negotiations, finances and media relations.• Developed onboarding program for newly hired clergy and staff.

As DTO (a role I was promoted into) I partnered with the Canon to the Ordinary (Chief of Staff) to develop systems and care for clergy and church leaders (paid and volunteer), primarily in the areas of adjudication, priestly formation, crisis and congregation management, and managing Safe Church training program. Designed and facilitated various meetings. Assisted the Chief of Staff in managing priests (275+), programs and parishes for 115 congregations and nine college campus ministries. Provide coaching and mentoring to community leaders and priests during times of transition and crisis. Collaborate on guiding candidates for Holy Orders through the process. Direct and provide assistance to the Pastoral Response Team and Disciplinary Board. Selected Achievements:• Created new online process for COM Membership that streamlined communications and reports.• As a member of the national Transition Ministry Conference Board led in the development, rebranding and rollout of a new website.

Assist two senior executives in managing programs and parishes for 118 churches in the Episcopal Diocese of NC. Work with parishes and priests during times of transition. Facilitate meetings, assist in creating Diocesan level programs and communications.

Suburban parish with 200 members and a 60-student daily Preschool.Parish Life Administrator• Lead non-clergy staff member, responsible for recruiting, training, coordinating, and directing other paid staff and member volunteers in the day-to-day operations of the church, church office and Preschool. • Scope of role included areas of communications both print and electronic, membership services, recordkeeping, building and grounds maintenance, serving also as executive assistant to clergy as required in the areas of planning, organization, and communications. Selected Achievements:• Created new communications pathways for the parish that included weekly newsletter, renewed Facebook presence and website redevelopment.• Helped increase parish involvement by 20%.
