Managed the engineering team to provide high quality, FEM Analysis and design of advanced transportation, ballistic and aerospace Composite products.

Successfully designed and fabricated a FRP railway sleeper (first composite sleeper for Indian/Global Railways) through collaboration with DST and RDSO team. Adopted concurrent engineering approach for first time right design. Successfully executed to pass the lab test requirements. Prepared a five year project plan for structural health monitoring of smart military bridge structures.

Designed and developed FRP structures (bridge components) for military engineering applications. Played a vital role in setting up the composite research (equipment specification, demo of composite fabrication). Developed technical awareness about composite material for military applications. Significantly contributed towards on-going classified projects. Learned to deal with contractors and vendors. Involved in project proposal and learned project management by working with senior army officers.

Played a key role in the development of a floor reaction orthosis using hybrid thermoplastics by developing low cost, thermoforming, sandwich fabrication, analysis and characterization of materials. In-charge of DST funded composite NDE and mechanical characterization laboratory. Provided Testing and programming support to various consultancy projects involving design and testing of industrial composite structures (e.g, FRP launcher tube, low CTE rod).
