For over fifteen years I have been working at the interface between technical business problems and the IT technology used to solve them. I have held several different Product Owner roles in the data products space. I especially excel when it comes to delivering data for, and optimizing, technical analysis and data science workflows. With my background in engineering, I can understand the business problem and the data needed to solve it.I believe you should always start with "why" (credit to Simon Sinek). Understanding "why" you're creating a product or service will always lead to a better "how" and "what". There should be no daylight between you and your customer. I also believe that organizations should take care of their people - and then the people will take care of the business. Culture is everything.I am a strong believer in mentoring and career-long learning and development. A successful mentorship leads to development of both the mentee and mentor.
