Managed fundraising activities for Summit including management of relationships with commercial banks, equity investors and investment banks, development of investor presentations & economic models, refinement of fundraising strategies and management of due diligence processes.Led efforts in relation to business planning & strategy. Completed due diligence and closed majority investment in Recurrent Energy, a California based solar project development company. Built pro forma model and wrote investment memorandum. Company was successfully sold two years later at a reported $300 million valuation to Sharp Corporation.

Performed due diligence and financial analysis for private equity firm with over $2 billion under management. Provided analysis for winning bid to buy over 2300 MWs of generation assets from Cogentrix Energy in deal awarded Project Finance magazine’s “2007 North American Portfolio Power Deal of the Year.”

Successfully sold and executed consulting contracts with five clients. Representative client engagements: Large School District: Led financial analysis of $250 million solar energy project on 650 buildings. Evaluated feasibility, developed financing assumptions, managed engineering team and relationships to construct and manage project. Fortune 100 Company: Developed project finance strategy for deploying combined heat and power systems. Evaluated regulatory and cost structure geographically and across industries.
