Trillium converts renewable feedstocks such as glycerol to chemical products. These products include acrylonitrile, a monomer for acrylic fibers, carbon fibers, and other valuable materials like ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene). Notable accomplishments:• Hired and led executive team to develop business strategy, finance operations, commercialization plan, and secure equity investment to support strategy• In first 18 months of operation, Trillium raised $16.1M, built a pilot plant, and secured offtake agreements for its product• Engaged technical and business leaders across the value chain to drive partnerships with suppliers, offtakers, engineering firms, and development partners

Consulted with clients in chemical, electric utility, and automotive industry on wide range of topics including R&D, technology commercialization, and workforce development

• Developed strategy to support negotiations of long-term wholesale energy contracts• Assessed decarbonization policies, progress, challenges, and developed perspective on role of natural gas in a low carbon future

• Led division that 1) develops new chemical process technologies and 2) provides technical services to commercial (e.g. utilities) and government clients in the energy and chemical sectors• Reported to CEO of 500 person organization with P&L ownership of $12M business and responsibility for 75 employees at five sites located in three states• Negotiated first two technology licensing deals in divisional history (50 years); revenue generated from equipment design/build, licensing fee, and royalty streams. Also improved bottom line from $3M loss in Year 1 to breakeven in Year 2

Led a group of 25 engineers that delivered $100M in capital projects. Responsible for all capital projects at a mega-scale fossil power plant that were designed to improve plant operations and meet regulatory requirements. Developed capital budget strategy for Georgia Power, which included evaluating and prioritizing ~900 projects totaling $1B
