Golden Design takes a human-centered and design-based approach to help brands grow. I identify new ways to serve and support people by uncovering latent needs, behaviors, and desires. PENSOLE students will experience our rigorous “learn by doing” curriculum, where they are taught to THINK before they create and do everything by hand, from sketching to rendering to prototyping. Our programs introduce students to all aspects of footwear design: concept development, sketching, constructions, materials, and storytelling. We also emphasize professional skills such as branding, interview techniques, networking, portfolio development, and verbal and visual presentation.

As the ID Lead, I work with the CEO at Super Heroic to craft and execute the product roadmap, CMF standards and multi-functional physical goods for current and future years. I work closely with external creative agencies, UX/UI research consultants, product development firms, experience designers and external service providers to bring the highest standards of execution, and innovation to our audience.

Students are introduced to the profession, key skills required, and the industrial design process. Students then bring these together to solve design challenges throughout the semester.In this role, I am responsible for curriculum and syllabus development and ensuring the course provides an easy transition into further coursework, the design profession, or a design-based degree.

Conceptualize new footwear designs, provide market research and design trend analysis, prepare design review presentations, execute footwear design detailing and technical packages, design and specify trend relevant color and material options, refine and finish footwear designs through multiple prototyping processes. Develop an understanding of the developer’s role in the overall process to creatively apply problem-solving skills in manufacturing and development issues.

Worked in the Innovation Kitchen Department working on a range of projects from basketball to running. Duties included presentations of designs and sketches, working with model shop to build prototypes, pattern makers, tech packs for overseas as well as working on projects that envision Nike as a company for the future. Designing performance driven inline footwear that address fast paced design requests for the running , baseball and football consumer. Have worked with key athletes from MLB to NFL on key footwear products. This includes color, graphic, and material selection/design, presentation preparation, market research, and logistical support.Provide design support to Creative Managers and Directors and create unique new footwear designs that address consumer, retailer, and company needs on a seasonal timeline.​Conceptualize new footwear designs, provide market research and design trend analysis, prepare design review presentations, execute footwear design detailing and technical packages, design and specify trend relevant color and material options, refine and finish footwear designs through multiple prototyping process.
