Iwas responsible for transitioning datacenter activities. This transition existed out oftwo phases. Phase one was solely service provider activities where phase twowas a transition from internal employees to the new service provider. Project Manager Allianz Hq Move (Freelance)
Allianz was planning on moving to a new building. This meant that all ITperipherals including the datacenter had to be moved. The whole building wouldbe stripped on the inside and built up from scratch. This meant new datacenter,new work desks, new meeting rooms and much more. My responsibility was all ofthe above. Together with my team of ~10 FTE we decommissioned everything inthe old building while we were setting up new work desks, meeting rooms and apresence system. Together with the construction lead i was overseeing the built ofthe new datacenter that it was built according to regulations and standards

All locally hosted systems had to be migrated to centralized datacenters in Parisand Frankfurt. My first project was migrating mailboxes to the new exchangeplatform together with IBM and Accenture. For this project i traveled a lot toMunich and Paris where my main focus was stake holder management andensuring the migration scope was 100%. After a successful migration i was askedto continue migration work for Allianz Netherlands. Together with a team of ~4DBA's/ IT experts we moved 95% of the active databases to the central datacenterwithin the time we were given. In parallel i was managing a different infrastructureserver upgrade project. This meant upgrading servers from windows server 2003/2008/ 2012 to windows server 2016. Within the time given we managed toupgrade 75% of the servers. My main focus was stake holder management,overseeing the completion of the database infrastructure setup in the remotedatacenter.
