Research topics: -Photoreforming reaction in the presence of biomass/organic waste to simultaneously generate H2 and produce useful organic components. -Machine learning for photocatalysisResponsibilities:-Design and develop strategies to synthesize photocatalytic materials for sustainable H2 evolution via photoreforming of biomass/organic compounds.-Optimize H2 production rate and tune selectivity of the reaction towards desirable end products by utilizing various pohtocatalytic metal oxide materials. -Take a lead role in setting up and optimizing lab-based photocatalytic reactor and be responsible to adapt the best-performing photocatalyst to the array. -Contribute in writing of scientific journal articles and reports. -Assist in coordinating research activities and contribute to meet project milestones.-Supervise and provide guidance to PhD and undergraduate students.

Projects: Photo-induced polymerization of various polymer in the presence of titanium dioxide as the photocatalyst. Responsibilities: 1. Perform research by designing and conducting experiment with various characterization methods. 2. Investigate and analyse data obtained from experiments. 3. Write scientific manuscript for high quality publications. 4. Work with other team members or other research group on collaborated projects. 5. Engage in lab management.6. Provide guidance to undergraduate and postgraduate students in regards of experimental, instrumental and analytical methods.

Courses: Industrial Chemistry for Chemical Engineers, Advanced Particle Systems, Product Engineering Design, Mass and Energy Systems, Industrial Chemistry for Chemical EngineeringResponsibilities: 1. Assist student in the understanding of the course during tutorial sessions. 2. Contribute in the assessment of students' assignments, quiz, reports and projects.

Project: Carrier Dynamics Investigations of Cuprous Oxide Photocatalyts with Distinct Morphologies. Responsibilities:1. Collaborated with researchers from HZB research group. 2. Conducted experiment using time-resolved microwave conductivity measurement that was not accessible in School of Chemical Engineering UNSW.

Responsibilities:1. Analysed data according to statistics, graphs and charts to determine the relationship between each parameter involved in the production processes.2. Provided assistance to process engineers to determine the efficiency of each unit in the plant and justify the outlying product specifications.
