Responsible for the planning and execution of events at Rose Quarter facilities. The primary client contact and serves as the liaison between all facility users and the arena staff.• Determine the needs of client and provide appropriate information to facility staff. Interpret contracts and work closely with RCM sales staff to ensure client’s expectations/contract obligations are met.• Coordinate with internal & external contractors/vendors/departments including catering & concessionaires, broadcasting companies, decorators, box office, finance, sponsorship, marketing and other services. Ensure compliance with state and local fire and safety ordinances. Apply for and gather all appropriate event permits from local authorities.• Serve as event lead at event; enforce facility policies and procedures throughout each event; identify and resolve problems including managing and coordinating all facility departments. Serve as liaison between client and arena staff, communicating event-day changes as needed.• For each event: approve all staffing levels and additional expenses; calculate, prepare and submit all settlement estimates; prepare and participate in final settlement.Prepare written documents detailing event requirements and distribute to facility staff within designated time frame; prepare written evaluations of events, documenting all changes and issues throughout the event; maintain accurate and complete event files.• Enforce facility policies and procedures throughout each event and ensure compliance with ADA, local and state fire and safety ordinances. Knowledge and on-going training of venue security and emergency management policies.

Planned and lead execution of all Oregon Restaurant Association (ORA) and Oregon Lodging Association (OLA) events during the year with the Director of Business Development. Responsibilities included: communicating with past sponsors regarding upcoming year’s sponsorship opportunities and benefits and cross marketing of all Business Development products and services. Oversaw planning, budget development, preparations for and execution of all ORA and OLA events during the year. Prepared action plans for each event. Provided communication and support for the Northwest Foodservice Trade Show Manager.
