Lead an extra-curricular team of dedicated student engineers at the University of Vermont that design, build, and race electric open-wheel racecars for the international Formula Hybrid competition. Responsibilities as president included ensuring project deadlines were met, checking in with team members to make sure they had everything they needed, and dealing with conflicts. Set new standards for knowledge transfer, documentation, and project organization withing the team. During the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 seasons, the team produced two award-winning electric racecars and secured third place at Formula Hybrid.

Worked with a dedicated group of engineering students at the University of Vermont to design, build, and race electric open wheel racecars for the international Formula Hybrid competition. Gained proficiency in electronics design by developing dozens of complex electronic systems and custom printed circuit boards for vehicle control, data collection, and battery management. Also gained mechanical design experience by designing space-frame vehicle chassis, custom enclosures for electronics, and driver ergonomic components. Performed finite element analysis on mechanical systems and analyzed electrical systems with a variety of methods. Worked with the team to design and build four award-winning vehicles and achieve second and third place finishes over the course of four years.
