When I first entered the workforce at 15 at a pizza place in Omaha, Nebraska, I didn’t realize how the interpersonal skills I developed there would follow me to where I am now. Today I’m a Benefit Integration Analyst and Account Manager at Paragon Partners. In this role I have a wide variety of clients that I work with across 5 states. I pride myself in the white glove assistance I offer to the clients I work with. And I’m happy to do it - not just because they send me Christmas presents! During my time at Paragon Partners I have worked heavily in the platform Employee Navigator. This platform is used as an onboarding tool as well as a tool for open enrollments. Because I am full of questions, I sat in on webinars, attended conferences, and read through the “How-To” guides Employee Navigator supplied. While self studying, I found that we were not utilizing the platform to its full potential for our clients. Employee Navigator offers integrations to carriers via the ANSI 834 EDI. I took it upon myself to learn how to set these up and pitched the use of these integrations to executives in the office. Four years later, these integrations are a major part of selling our business to new brokers. I personally manage over 100 of these integrations saving countless hours of staff efforts and preventing human errors.Providing white glove assistance doesn’t stop at completing these integrations. For many of my clients I provide one on one training with their groups on how to use Employee Navigator. I spend my days on the phone with clients working through problems, answering questions, and teaching the functionality of the platform. If you catch me outside of work, I am usually on the run. Both literally and figuratively! I’m either training for a race or running to meet friends to try out a new restaurant in town.
