Mr. O’Brien joined 7Summits in 2012 as an early-stage startup. He has been a member of the senior management team since joining. 7Summits exited to IBM in January 2021 and today is a wholly-owned subsidiary of IBM.Mr. O'Brien is a Senior Vice President in the Service Delivery organization, with primary responsibility for the company's Project Management, Managed Services, and Operations teams. As such, he is responsible for 7Summits’ Project Management Office (PMO), delivery methodology (“The 7Summits Way”), project portfolio governance, enterprise utilization management/resource management and revenue forecasting. He also provides executive oversight on strategic customer accounts.Prior to his current role, Mr. O’Brien served as Vice President, Client Partner for four years at 7Summits, during which he managed a multi-million dollar portfolio of strategic accounts, mainly in the Software & High-Tech and Manufacturing verticals.Prior to joining 7Summits, Mr. O’Brien spent 15 years in leadership, strategy consulting, account management, and project management roles in integrated and digital marketing agencies. He has more than 20 years of combined digital development and technology implementation experience, including enterprise SaaS, website/CMS development, e-mail and marketing automation, experiential/event marketing technology, and custom software development.Mr. O’Brien is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he played NCAA Division I Men's Volleyball.
