Starting with ghosting a little-seen coloring job on a reprint of Alan Moore & Alan Davis' DR & QUINCH, I moved into pencilling and inking, first for Dark Horse Comics and then for DC Comics. Since then I've produced work for nearly every major North American publisher (and a few minor ones!), along with publishers in Europe and Asia. I've also done work.

I'm one of the original members of this well-known comic book illustration house. It has long been considered by many to be an influential training ground for some of the more prominent comics creators of the 1990's and 2000's, perhaps most notably Brian Stelfreeze (Batman: Shadow of the Bat, Matador), Adam Hughes (Wonder Woman, Tomb Raider), Cully Hamner.

I apprenticed to former Disney designer and commercial illustrator Don Howard at his studio for two years, starting as an assistant, and eventually handled entire jobs largely on my own, with minimal art direction.
