You’re probably thinking - why did she get her degree in film theory but all of her experience is in sustainability? Well, after I graduated and jumped into the film industry, I discovered the sheer amount of waste created by film sets, which led me down the road of switching fields to wanting to be apart of the change. I want to have a positive impact on my community, educate on the amazing advantages of composting, and ultimately live a life of less waste.Since graduating, I’ve worked hard to get any certification I can with the resources I have; I received a Certificate in Sustainable Systems and Technologies from Santa Monica College, am a trained Climate Reality Leader, and am a C3 Leader for the Peggy Noebart Nature Museum.
