Since 2006, I have worked in the corporate and nonprofit sectors in a wide variety of roles. The bulk of my time has been spent in the areas of leadership development and change management. Over the years I have worked with corporate clients such as Dell, Entergy, and Silicon Labs. In addition, I have partnered with hospitals to help surgeons improve their bedside manner and navigate difficult patients and family members, as well as with large associations, universities, and start-ups to make them better at what they do for their clients and their employees.In my day job where I have worked since 2008, I am the Director of Experience & Engagement which centers around employee satisfaction and ensuring the workplace works for the people who work there as well as optimizing our outward-facing touch points (conferences and events) to produce interactions and experiences that are frictionless and engaging for our constituents. Over that time, I have also served as the Director of Operations, Director of Communications, and as a Prevention Specialist where my primary duties were as a training facilitator and coach for service providers across Texas.Finally, I have a background as a keynote speaker, stage performer, UX and Visual designer, and personal chef. All of these things combined have allowed me to develop a unique set of skills that I use to help turn companies into amazing places to work, managers into effective leaders, and job-seekers into outstanding candidates.
